The convention to overcome in this very unique category of overhead home furnishings is that a fan is a fan is a fan. But luckily, as a heritage brand with a wealth of unconventional wisdom to share, Hunter Fan had just the man for the job: John Hunter himself. Bringing this beloved character to life was a great responsibility, and we didn’t take that fact for granted at any point in the process of developing our campaign. Across digital, print, social and video elements, we laid out a series of cool truths with plenty of personality to spare. The educational effort ended up showing shoppers a side of both ceiling fans and the brand that they hadn’t seen before.
