The agency recommended a new, more contemporary identity with a simple approach that could also be applied in new markets. The name Citizens & Northern was simplified and the new identity was built around “C&N” with an emphasis on the ampersand to signify the value and importance of the relationship with customers. The new identity was applied to internal and external communications, marketing, and the physical identity.
